Our fleet
Despite having a near monopoly to air transportation for the oil industry, we have taken a conscious decision with based on oriented strategy provide to our customers a first class service with modern aircrafts.

Our fleet includes:

• 18 helicopters and
• 28 fixed-wing aircraft, both jet and turbo-propelled

Helicopters
SonAir's helicopters are the lifeline of Angola’s offshore industry. Vital to the operation of offshore rigs and platforms by ferrying personnel back and forth from remote islands of steel in the middle of the ocean to mainland, innumerous times per day. We use the following helicopter models:

• Dauphin
• Sikorsky
• Super Puma

Airplanes
Although SonAir is best known for the transport services to the oil industry operating in Angola, beyond that we also provide air transportation services to other business and/or single entities.

Passenger transportation within Angola and to other countries is done with one of the following planes:

• BeechCraft: 350 and 1900
• Boeing 727
• Falcon 900
• Fokker: 27 and 50
• TwinOtter
